Nicole Brown

Physical Therapist Assistant

Nicole has been at Therapeutic Associates since 2018, where she began as a Physical Therapy Aide while studying Exercise Science at Eastern Washington University. She recognized a unique environment and approach to physical therapy at Therapeutic Associates that fostered education and challenged her to pursue solutions to each individual’s unique needs that address the root cause of dysfunction while understanding the interconnectivity of the human body.

During her undergraduate studies, Nicole tutored in high school Spanish and Latin and was distinguished as a model PLUS group facilitator in chemistry for her responsiveness to student questions and her ability to break down complex problems while encouraging collaborative learning. She brings this ability to explain complicated concepts in an understandable manner to help patients navigate their treatment and take a more active role in their recovery.

In 2021, she successfully completed the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Spokane Falls where she enjoyed a diverse range of experiences, from outpatient orthopedics to a rotation in stroke rehabilitation and acute care. Nicole appreciates all facets of physical therapy and working with a variety of patient populations and treatment models. She loves getting to know each of her patients and looks forward to collaborating with them to optimize healing.

When she’s not at Therapeutic Associates, you can find Nicole outdoors running, hiking, snowboarding, or playing volleyball with friends. In the past, Nicole played the violin for the Spokane Youth Symphony and other orchestras, but now she only pulls out her dusty violin every once in a while for the pure joy of playing.

“My goal is to facilitate the body’s innate ability to adapt, using a multi-system approach that incorporates the unique individuality of each patient and their needs, to promote healing and wellbeing.”
