Dr. Nicole Gorretta is excited she gets to work in the community where she was born and raised. She grew up as an athlete in Vancouver, WA and after venturing to Texas for both her under grad and Doctorate schooling, she can think of no better place for her career as a Physical Therapist. She loves being involved in local activities and promoting wellness
Nicole values all aspects of the healing process, including the physical and psychological components, and knows that using a holistic approach allows for much better results. She works together with her patients to build individualized treatment plans that restore previous activity levels including return to sports, work, and day to day activities.
Growing up as a multi-sport athlete fostered Nicole’s passion for helping athletes return to sport following an injury as well as work to prevent injuries from happening. She draws from her own experiences both as an athlete herself and from treating athletes with the Baylor University athletic department. There she worked with the university’s acrobatics and tumbling team, as well as their football, basketball, soccer, softball, track, and volleyball teams. Nicole has had the unique opportunity to train alongside athletic trainers and physical therapists who have worked with collegiate and professional NFL/NBA athletes.
Nicole received her BS in Movement Science from Texas Christian University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor University. She loves being in her hometown, where she spends her free time traveling, hiking, and camping. Nicole also spends time outside the clinic coaching gymnastics for Columbia River High School.
