Pierre received his BS in Kinesiology from Biola University in La Mirada, California in 2015, where he competed on the men’s basketball team. Afterward, he returned to his hometown of McMinnville while attending George Fox University and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019.
Pierre grew up on the campus of a local retirement center, which instilled in him a desire to build relationships with people from various backgrounds. He is passionate about empowering patients to achieve their goals and improve their health and wellness. He has numerous clinical interests including vestibular rehabilitation, orthopedic and sport-related injuries, neurological and balance conditions, chronic pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. His treatment approach is informed by evidence-based practice and involves a combination of manual techniques, therapeutic and functional exercises, and cognitive functional therapy. He recognizes that each patient has a unique set of experiences that impacts their sense of pain and functional limitation. For this reason, Pierre strives to provide individualized treatment plans that are meaningful to each person.
Pierre loves to spend his time outside of clinical practice with his family and friends. Both he and his wife love to travel and explore the Pacific Northwest including activities such as hiking, camping, running, surfing, and longboarding. He also enjoys golfing and playing basketball with friends, reading, and investing in his local community.
