Rachel was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and is a graduate of Pacific University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science Integrated Physiology and a Minor in Disability Studies from Pacific University. Rachel went on to complete an orthopedic residency and is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) with the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).
Rachel is a full-time treating clinician who has a passion for patient centered care and helping patients achieve their movement goals. Her treatment approach combines manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional strength training. She enjoys developing personalized treatment plans to help patients maximize function and build sustainable health and fitness habits.
She has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions including acute and chronic orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, persistent pain, motor vehicle accidents and post operative rehabilitation. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and fitness levels.
Outside of work, you will find Rachel and her husband snowboarding on Mt. Hood, working in her garden or hiking with their dog.
