Rachel was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She initially became involved in rehabilitation medicine through her community work with people with developmental disabilities. Her work with this population impressed upon her that functional movement looks different for each of us and ignited her passion for helping individuals from all walks of life reach their unique movement goals. She completed her undergraduate work at Pacific University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science Integrated Physiology and a Minor in Disability Studies. She continued on at Pacific University for her Doctor of Physical Therapy. Rachel is experienced with treating orthopedic injuries, sports related injuries, and pre and post-surgery. Her treatment philosophy focuses on combining hands-on manual therapy with a personalized stretching and strengthening program to help individuals resolve pain, improve function and develop and achieve sustainable health and fitness habits. “Physical therapy is not just about getting healthy, it is about staying healthy”
When not in the clinic, you will find Rachel snowboarding on Mt. Hood, doing arts and crafts, or playing futsal.
