Ray Arreguin

Physical Therapist

Ray completed his undergraduate and doctoral training at Ohio University in the small town of Athens, Ohio. Following graduation in 2011, he moved to Oregon to pursue his interests in orthopedic manual therapy and sports medicine. He is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, which is a distinction held by less than 1% of the profession. His treatment philosophy includes a combination of joint and soft-tissue mobilization in combination with functional movement training and exercise to restore the body’s full potential.

He enjoys treating patients involved in endurance sports, as he specializes in running evaluations and bike fit assessments. He also completes golf performance assessments utilizing techniques he learned through the Titleist Performance Institute. In general, he loves solving biomechanical puzzles that help return the patient back to their sport or job.

In conjunction with seeing patients in the downtown clinic, Ray works as a regional mentor for physical therapists in the company and serves as faculty in Therapeutic Associates’ Orthopaedic Residency.

Outside of work Ray enjoys spending time outdoors during all seasons. His interests include cycling, running, triathlon, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his wife and dog.
