Sara was born out east in New Jersey. She worked as a therapy aide in high school and knew early on that physical therapy was the career path that she wanted to pursue. She earned her Bachelors in Health Science in 2016 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 from Quinnipiac University in CT. While in PT school she was involved in two service learning trips traveling to Guatemala with an interdisciplinary team of students and professors. This experience strengthened her love for travel, helping underserved populations, as well as the Spanish language and culture.
With a passion to continue to learn, travel, and adventure post graduation; Sara started her career as a travel physical therapist in AZ, then to CA, NM, OR, CT, ME, TX, HI, and back to OR. Traveling for 4+ years allowed Sara to see different parts of the country and explore different areas of physical therapy. She worked in a variety of settings, outpatient orthopedics, acute care, neuro rehab facilities, post acute rehab, skilled nursing facilities, and home health.
After falling in love with the beauty of Oregon, meeting amazing people, and working with the incredible team at Therapeutic Associates; she decided to stay after realizing there is something very special here. Sara loves being in the sunshine and spends most of her free time outside enjoying nature. She is always up for a fun adventure with good friends like hiking, biking, rock climbing, swimming, or playing sports.
