Sean received his Bachelors of Arts in Biology from the University of San Diego in 2011 before spending several years pursuing his passions in travel and outdoor recreation through ski instructing and whitewater rafting/kayaking. During this time, Sean’s interests in physical activity, medicine, and ambition to help people led him to physical therapy. He returned to school to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Idaho State University.
Sean’s lifelong participation in sports and outdoor activities drives his desire to help patients return to the activities that they enjoy most or achieve a more active lifestyle with fewer limitations. Through a personalized combination of manual therapy, exercise, and education he assists each patient in reaching their goals and empowers them to continue improving after completion of therapy. Sean plans to pursue additional training in orthopedics, manual therapy, functional dry needling, and pain neuroscience education and is looking forward to seeing where his career in physical therapy takes him.
Born and raised in Boise, Sean tries to spend as much time in the outdoors as possible with his wife and dog. He enjoys whitewater rafting/kayaking, skiing, hiking/backpacking, and mountain biking. When not in the mountains or on a river he is often playing soccer, running, or swimming.
