Sterling was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho and grew up playing a variety of different sports and has always lived an active lifestyle. He completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and after his first year of school, he served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tampa, Florida.
After completing his mission, Sterling began working at a Physical Therapy clinic and fell in love with the profession after helping his wife rehab a torn ACL. Following Undergraduate, Sterling completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
Outside the clinic, Sterling is married to his wife Breanna, and they have one daughter Esther. When he isn’t working, you can find him disc golfing, hiking, cooking, and exploring. He also practices martial arts and achieved the rank of second-degree black belt in karate.
