Tara was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon and has a strong connection with her community. She played college basketball and received her Bachelors in Exercises Science from New Mexico Highlands University. Following graduation, she coached college Basketball and was a personal trainer for 7 years before becoming an aide at Therapeutic Associates, Beaverton. Once she started working for TAI, she knew physical therapy was the right career for her. In 2015 she graduated from Mt Hood Community College and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She returned to Therapeutic Associates and became part of the South Hillsboro Team in 2021. She loves working with patients and helping them to reach their goals to maximize quality of life. She is passionate about educating those she works with to ensure long lasting effects.
In her spare time, she loves being with her husband, son, and puppy. She enjoys hiking, running, lifting weights and being outdoors with family and friends.
