Wayne VanNewkirk was born and raised outside Rochester, NY and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Misericordia University in Dallas Pennsylvania. His treatment style works to combine the effects of manual therapy coupled with the reinforced personalized exercises programs to help people return to their everyday functions or extracurricular activities.
At Misericordia Wayne earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration while also being a 4-year member of the baseball team which won the MAC Freedom conference title in 2019 and 2021. Wayne started his baseball career as a catcher but switched to first base in college. Since finishing his career, he has spent time working to understand throwing mechanics and building a strong well rounded baseball program that can be tailored to all players with his colleges at TAI.
While at Misericordia Wayne spent time working with T21 and Me – children with Down syndrome, and Buddy Walks.
In his free time Wayne enjoys spending time running, snowboarding, playing baseball/basketball and working out.

Breakfast food because people eat breakfast for dinner but never dinner for breakfast.
