Therapeutic Associates

Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy started as a one-clinic organization in Southern California in 1952. In the 70 years since then, we’ve grown to include clinics throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho while maintaining our footprint in California as well.

While the entire company celebrated our rich past as we marked our 70-year milestone anniversary last year, many of our clinics are celebrating their own major milestone anniversaries!

We are excited to honor and congratulate our clinics that have grown to be exceptional resources for their communities in partnership with employees past and present, patients, referring providers and local organizations.

At Therapeutic Associates Hazel Dell Physical Therapy, the team is dedicated to meeting individual needs and helping every patient get back to the things they love as quickly and safely as possible.

Here, in her own words, clinic director Lindsy Palisca reflects on Therapeutic Associates Hazel Dell Physical Therapy’s rich clinic history and considers its promising future as the staff celebrates 10 years in business.

Hazel Dell - 10 Year Milestone

What is one particularly memorable highlight from Hazel Dell’s history?

“Hazel Dell has had a bit of a bumpy history, but in the past 6 months has really turned a corner and is gaining momentum. Even with changing staff, it has been cool to see people coming back who saw the original director and everyone in between.

A recent highlight was hiring physical therapist Nicole Gorretta who came to us through a fun series of connections. An acupuncturist from Camas referred two sisters. One went to Camas, and one came to Hazel Dell. The one who came to Hazel Dell, referred her friend, who is Nicole’s mom. Through a casual conversation on her second visit, the connection was made. Nicole also knows our PT at Camas, Hayden, from gymnastics! I love a good “2 degrees of separation” story.”

What is a goal you have for your clinic?

“My goal for the clinic is to build a true community brand.

Nicole has goals to treat athletes and I can’t wait to see what programs she connects with and grows.

We have a great region of clinics and having a specialty at each allows us to cross refer and get patients to the best place for their success. Not to be overly cheesy, but Hazel Dell is like The Little Engine that Could, and we are finally cresting the top of the hill.”
