Therapeutic Associates

Do you need a wheelchair to improve your mobility? Our clinic will help walk you through all steps of obtaining a wheelchair including fitting and working with a representative to obtain the chair that suits your needs.

How does a fitting work?

Wheelchair fittings are completed in clinic and typically last 60-90 minutes. A thorough history is taken, measurements are performed, and the different models are considered based on these findings. This assessment is completed by both a Physical Therapist and Medical Representative. The medical representative can then take this information and help you through the process of obtaining a specific type of chair based on need and your insurance type.
