Anne was born and raised in sunny, Southern California where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Her interest in physical therapy developed during a sports medicine internship where she worked as a student athletic trainer. Her passion was solidified when she worked as a physical therapy aide at a private outpatient clinic in Redondo Beach, CA and loved working with patients, helping them rehabilitate from a variety of conditions, and witnessing them reach their goals.
Anne earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015 from Regis University in Denver, CO where she also enjoyed hiking, yoga, running and snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains. Shortly after graduating, Anne commissioned into the United States Air Force as an Active Duty officer and served for 6 years where she had the privilege of working with a wide range of active duty personnel as well as veterans and their families. She developed a passion for community outreach and directly worked with specialized units such as fighter pilots, security forces and aircraft maintenance crews to focus on injury prevention and optimize human performance. She then went on to working on military physical therapy research projects for 2 years with The Geneva Foundation focusing on holistic treatment approaches to chronic and post-operative pain management. Anne is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is certified in Dry Needling. Her newest pursuit is a Masters in Health Services Administration.
Anne’s pride and joy are her 3 beautiful children (Bennett, Everett, and Colette) with her husband, Stephen. They enjoy spending time outside and eating good food with friends and family and hope to take their children to travel abroad in the near future.
