Denzil graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Denzil is not a lifelong athlete, but later made significant lifestyle changes, losing 70lbs through hiking and running. Since beginning his running journey Denzil has finished nearly 20 ultramarathons, including several 100 mile events. Because of this, he has a special passion for working with ultra runners and endurance athletes, and truly understands the “ultra mindset.”
Wherever someone is on their own movement journey, Denzil is passionate about patient-centered care, and believes that every person of every ability deserves to live their highest quality of life possible. He helps his patients achieve this by meeting them where they are to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, and to achieve goals that are meaningful to them through education, exercise, and manual therapy.
In his free time, Denzil enjoys trail running, cycling, mountaineering, hiking, backpacking, and any other excuse he can find to be outdoors. He also believes that most food is better in burrito form.
Favorite Dessert? Ginger Molasses Cookies.
