John received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Chapman University in Orange, California in 1991. He has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Western Washington University. John has worked 22 years in the Monroe community providing orthopedic, industrial and sports rehabilitation services. He has served as team trainer for Monroe High School, as well as the Sky Valley Explosion semi-professional basketball team. He is currently pursuing further orthopedic certifications.
John’s clinical interest is working with general orthopedic conditions, specifically the shoulder, knee and spinal injuries. He has extensive experience in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, and specialized training in Industrial Rehabilitation and sports injuries. John was certified by ErgoScience in 1999 to administer Physical Capacity Evaluations, used to determine an injured worker’s readiness to return to the workforce. He has also worked with local businesses in ergonomic education and injury prevention programs.
Outside of the clinic, John enjoys golf, running, camping, travel and being involved in his children’s sports activities. He enjoys spending time with family and friends.
