Kephera is from Carmel, California. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from University of California at Berkeley, where she also minored in Music and studied abroad in Granada, Spain. She lived in the Bay Area for 13 years before moving to Portland in 2019. Since then she has taught piano at Ethos Music Center in NE Portland and worked as a Referral Specialist for the Vancouver Clinic in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She is currently completing a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification.
Kephera was introduced to Physical Therapy when she became a patient herself and found it empowered her with knowledge she could use for the rest of her life to prevent and treat her back pain. This healing experience inspired her to begin the journey of becoming a Physical Therapist and contributing to this important field.
In her free time, you’ll find Kephera training in Muay Thai, composing music, listening to records, reading novels, playing board games with friends, and going for hikes with her partner, Cody. Her favorite animals are snow leopards and red pandas.
