Lauren is originally from St. Helens, Oregon, where she worked with Therapeutic Associates as an Exercise Specialist. She attended Florida State University to complete her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, and the University of Florida to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy. While in school, Lauren co-directed a 5K event on campus, encouraging movement and engagement through community outreach. She volunteered many hours with a pro bono clinic, treating patients with a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Lauren also spent a month volunteering internationally, working alongside doctors to provide mobile health clinics to underserved populations.
Outside of school, Lauren grew a strong love for the outdoors that began in her childhood. Family trips ranged from bike riding the entire Oregon Coast, to kayaking in the San Juans, and summiting several PNW glaciated peaks. While living in Florida, she took up paddle boarding, yoga with friends, and sunset runs at the beach. Lauren’s love for helping others and for outdoor adventures led her to pursue a job with Therapeutic Associates in Central Oregon. Lauren is most looking forward to using her skillset to help others get back to what they love most.
