Rachel graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She then worked as an aide at Ballard Physical Therapy before earning her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating, she moved back to Ballard where she was born and raised.
Rachel enjoys working with patients of many ages and who have a variety of conditions. She loves all aspects of physical therapy and has gained a lot of knowledge about pediatrics and orthopedic conditions in graduate school. She is most passionate about treating patients with orthopedic injuries. She continues to search for evidence to drive the manual techniques, therapeutic activities, and exercises that she utilizes in her treatment sessions. Rachel is passionate about empowering her patients to understand their bodies and find strategies for living a healthy life in recovery and prevention of future injuries.
Rachel enjoys rock climbing, running, soccer, and other outdoor activities in her spare time. She loves being back in the Pacific Northwest which she has always called home.
