Sophie completed her DPT at Northern Arizona University and her undergrad degree in Physiology and Neuroscience at UC San Diego. After completing clinical rotations in acute care and post-op orthopedics, her final internship was here at NW Portland Therapeutic Associates.
She enjoys working with patients of all ages and activity levels. With a 14-year background in artistic gymnastics and a newfound passion for rock climbing, Sophie greatly enjoys helping gymnasts and rock climbers work through injuries and improve their performance. She also has clinical interests in working with patients who experience chronic pain and finds it important to address the holistic components of the pain experience in her clinical work.
Outside of work, you can find Sophie rock climbing, at a Pilates class, or playing with her two cats. If not out camping, Sophie and her husband love to spend weekends in Portland at a coffee shop in the Pearl district or on a hike at Forest Park.
