About

Tina, a native of Florida, earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Central Florida, with a research focus on minimalist running. Before pursuing a career in Physical Therapy, she served as an Active-Duty Military Officer for six years in the U.S. Coast Guard. Her assignments included Key West as the Navigator of a 270’ ship and San Francisco as the Operational Planner and Weapons Officer for a deployable Maritime Safety and Security Team. After the military, she chose Physical Therapy to follow her passion for health and wellness and to become an expert in exercise.

Using exercise as her medicine, Tina’s focus is to help patients recover from and prevent injury through functional movement so that they can maintain an active lifestyle. Her specialties include running analysis, minimalist running, strength and conditioning, bike fitting with biomechanical analysis, posture, manual therapy, and Temporomandibular dysfunctions (TMD) and headaches. She is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and holds certifications in Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapy (COMT), BikeFit, Astym, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Strength and Conditioning, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association National Chapter and Oregon Chapter. Tina is a member of the Therapeutic Associates Education Department as a mentor to the surrounding Portland area Therapeutic Associates clinics.

Tina and her husband moved from Florida to Oregon in 2015 and have thoroughly enjoyed the PNW lifestyle of seasons, hiking, cycling, running, gardening, etc. They now have two girls with tons of personality to share this with – Mika and Abby.
