Olya Kurkoski - Scappoose Physical Therapy

Olya Kurkoski, PT, DPT

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

Olya Kurkoski has been the director of Therapeutic Associates Scappoose Physical Therapy since its opening in June 2004 and has been with the company since 1994. She graduated with high honors from Simferopol State University in Ukraine, with a degree in Physical Education. Olya immigrated to the United States in 1993 and has lived in Oregon since 1994. She earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2001 and finished her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003.

Olya’s clinical emphasis is manual therapy and therapeutic exercise for rehabilitation of sports and recreational injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, occupational trauma, neurological disorders, women’s health issues, and TMJ/headaches. Olya speaks Russian and Ukrainian, and in her free time she enjoys coaching children’s soccer and basketball, gardening, golfing, and spending time with her family.

Laura Hardebeck - Scappoose

Physical Therapist

Laura graduated from Pacific University School of Physical Therapy in 1992. She has lived in the Cedar Mill area for many years with her husband Brian and two college-age sons (now at OSU and UO!). She enjoys hiking and camping, the beach, movies, cooking, and reading.

Jessica McCartney - Scappoose PT

Jessica McCartney

Administrative Coordinator

Jessica has over 9 years experience working in the medical field with insurance and clinic administration. She is new to Oregon, having moved here in January of 2018. Prior to Oregon, she lived in San Diego, CA, where she worked as an insurance benefits specialist in a sleep clinic, and in Yakima, WA, where she worked as a referral coordinator for a large hospital group.

Jessica is originally from Yakima. Her favorite ways to pass time are long-distance running and fishkeeping, both in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. She currently lives in St. Helens, OR, with her husband, son, two dogs, and many aquatic creatures.

Exercise Specialist

Lisa graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s in Wildlife Science. She worked in wildlife research for 16 years before deciding to move back to her hometown, Scappoose, to change directions and become a physical therapy aide. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring with her fiancé Zack, playing with her dog and goats, and hiking.
