Ken Call

Kenneth Call, PT, DPT

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY:
Ken enjoys getting to know his patients by assessing their rehab needs as well as learning about their history and life stories. His treatment approach has always been one-on-one care. Education is a critical part of the rehab process both for the therapist and patient. He is a clinical instructor and has doctorate students from around the country in clinic to provide education for future physical therapists. All patients are educated about their condition and general health/wellness needs.

EDUCATION:
Ken graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences Physical Therapy program in 1994, and then completed his doctorate work in physical therapy in 2004. Ken has taken several manual therapy courses, is an APTA clinical instructor, and has certifications in ASTYM, BikeFit, and ErgoScience work testing.

EMPLOYMENT:
Ken moved to the Tri-cities in 1994 and began working for Therapeutic Associates. He opened the Therapeutic Associates West Kennewick location in 1997 and then opened the Southridge clinic in 2012 to help better serve the rehabilitation needs of the community.

PERSONAL:
Ken spends as much time as he can with his wife and their 5 sons. Ken has always been an outdoors enthusiast. He especially enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, and participating in various sporting activities from 70.3 distance triathlons to century rides. Ken is a big supporter of community activities and events, particularly those that lend to a healthier community.

 

Kyle Stewart

Kyle Stewart, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Kyle attended the University of Washington where he earned his B.A. in Philosophy in 2006 during which he gained an interest in healthcare and sports injury rehabilitation. He then attended the University of Montana School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) graduating in 2010.

Kyle moved back to Seattle to work in a large-scale diverse hospital based orthopedic clinic as well as providing occasional inpatient care. After spending five years in the hospital system, Kyle went for more sun on the eastern side of Washington state and has been with Therapeutic Associates since 2015. His areas of interest/proficiency include vestibular and balance disorders, use of the SFMA system, post-surgical orthopedics, geriatrics, functional application of Kinesiotape and corrective taping, joint adjustment, and neurologic movement disorders. Kyle is a SFMA Level I Certified provider as well as an APTA Level I Credentialed Clinical Instructor.

Kyle lives in Pasco with his wife and daughters where he enjoys activities of hanging out with his family, running, cycling, swimming, and Frisbee golf.

Chris Whetton - West Kennewick Physical Therapy

Chris Whetton, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Chris is a recent graduate of the University of Utah Physical Therapy Program. He obtained a Bachelor of science in Athletic Therapy from Weber State University in Ogden Utah, He has a specific interest in Orthopedics and plans to pursue Orthopedic Specialization within the next few years.  Although he is originally from Ogden, Utah Chris has lived in various places including Skagway, Alaska, Seattle, WA and the Dominican Republic.

During his undergraduate studies, Chris spent two summer working in Alaska where he met his wife, a Washington state native. He and his wife returned to the northwest in 2017 after Chris finished school. Thanks to his time in the Dominican Republic, Chris is fluent in Spanish and loves working with people from various different backgrounds and cultures.

During physical therapy school, Chris was heavily involved in the University of Utah’s student run pro bono clinic. He served on the board of directors as an attending liaison and used his Spanish skills to help serve the non-English speaking portion of the underserved population of Salt Lake City.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. He also enjoys hiking/backpacking, camping, fishing, both watching and playing soccer, as well any other enjoyable ways he can find to stay active.

Jessica Albertson

Exercise Physiologist

Jessica received her Bachelors of Exercise Science specializing in Clinical Physiology from Central Washington University in June 2014, and has many years of experience working in a physical therapy environment. Her focus includes Women’s Wellness, Corporate Wellness, and the Olympic and power lifting program.

Jessica is currently pursuing a certification as a Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist and developing a wellness program for Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy. In her off time she is a competing Olympic and power lifter, as well as a competitive softball coach.
