Katie is an Oregon native and a graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Mt. Hood Community College. Prior to graduating from the PTA program, she earned her Associate of Science degree from Mt. Hood Community College, and her Bachelor of Science degree from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health. She began her journey with Therapeutic Associates in 2019 as a physical therapist aide while completing her coursework, which further expanded her knowledge of therapeutic exercise training, anatomy and physiology, and orthopedic conditions.
Katie’s primary goal is to guide patients in achieving the goals that are meaningful to them with an individualized treatment program. Her approach to care involves a combination of manual therapy, evidence-based exercise prescription, and functional training. She brings compassion, empathy and drive to helping patients reach their goals and enjoy their favorite activities, all while fostering meaningful connections with her patients. She plans on continuing her education with an emphasis on manual therapy, orthopedics, and spine conditions.
Outside of work, you will often find Katie…outside! She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, backpacking, camping, biking, and traveling. She is also an avid weightlifter, and enjoys pushing her strength goals in the gym. When spending time indoors, she enjoys cooking, reading, and playing with her cat, Eva.
