For almost 30 years we have had a presence in Central Oregon. Under the stewardship of Don Wick, the founding partner in the region, and with his ability to pioneer relationships with our area physicians, the number of Therapeutic Associates clinics gradually expanded from one to four.
Based in what is now one of the fastest-growing metro regions in the country, we maintain a high standard of care for our residents, locals, new arrivals, retirees, and elite athletes. We maintain a community presence through sponsorship of events (such as the Pole, Pedal, Paddle and the Sisters Folk Festival) and public educational opportunities (such as the physician-directed talks at The Athletic Club of Bend). It is part of our culture at Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy to give back to our community. Many of our staff volunteer their time in service clubs and in the school system. We have given in kind or monetary support to the Bend-LaPine School District, Boys and Girls Clubs, MBSEF, The Center Foundation, Special Olympics, and the Arthritis Foundation. Through our involvement with Mt. Bachelor Rotary Club we have supported Kid Center, Sparrow Clubs, Grandma’s House, Pakistan relief, Tree of Joy, and many other worthy causes. Our clinics also sponsor some of our top young athletes in the region, including the national class skiers on XC Oregon and the rising regional force that is the TAI Cycling Team.
Physical Therapy
Central Oregonians enjoy an active life-style. Unfortunately, injuries often accompany activity. Injury can be frustrating to an individual who views physical activity as an important part of life. At Central Oregon Physical Therapy, we are dedicated to improving and enhancing function as it relates to your unique life-style. Our goal is to provide world class physical therapy and sports medicine for individuals of all ages and abilities. We treat and train elite, masters, collegiate, and high school athletes; weekend warriors and non-athletes alike. If you are active, we want to help you keep enjoying the life-style you love. Whether competing for a championship or enjoying a round of golf, we can help you get back in the game of life.
We offer an array of equipment, including a full line of Freemotion strength-training equipment, Nordic Track Incline Trainers™, and stationary cycles. In addition, our facilities have functional training areas that allow training and rehab in “real-life,” ranging from balance activities to running and agility drills.
While the equipment is advanced, it is our staff that makes the difference. Therapeutic Associates is staffed with Board Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapists, Manual Therapy certified therapists, Athletic Trainers, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists. Our staff excels at the difficult process of transitioning our patients from post-injury rehab to full function. Our healthcare professionals are dedicated to helping all our patients achieve their goals.

As we start a “new “ year, we often are inspired to work on health and wellness goals to enrich ourselves and our families for the coming year. This video is a great testimonial to how/why “getting moving” throughout the year helps us on so many levels (physically, emotionally). Physician, Author and instructor Andrew Weil, MD is speaking in Bend this month about spontaneous happiness… movement and it’s benefits are closely tied to our emotional health as well as the mechanical or physical.
If you need any advice or inspiration on how to “get moving” for the new year, contact us at ...
