Jim Tangredi

Jim Tangredi, PT, DPT

Clinic Director | Physical Therapist

Jim graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Sacred Heart University in 2014, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2011. Jim is a graduate of the two year Therapeutic Associates’ Orthopaedic Residency Program in which he was mentored by physical therapists specialized in manual therapy and completed coursework with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

Jim’s clinical interest is orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. His treatment approach is patient-specific, utilizing manual therapy, Functional Movement Systems, ASTYM, and evidence-based intervention strategies. His post-doctoral education is focused on obtaining the certifications of Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT).

Jim was born and raised in New York and moved to the Spokane area in 2014. Outside of the clinic, Jim enjoys mountain biking, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.

Steve Allen

Steve Allen, PT

Steve graduated with his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1977. His clinical rotations included attending the Kaiser Vallejo Rehab Program with Margaret Knott and Greg Johnson for intense instruction in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation. In 1979 he founded Evergreen Physical Therapy in the Spokane Valley and in 2001 opened Therapeutic Associates Liberty Lake Physical Therapy where he served as Clinic Director for 18 years.

Steve became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 1986 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists in 1998. Steve is available for supervised clinical residency and mentorship, and he serves as a faculty member for the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy and as an adjunct faculty member for Eastern Washington University’s Physical Therapy program.

Steve is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapy Association of Washington, with whom he has been awarded Physical Therapist of the Year (2009) and the Award for Clinical Excellence (2011). He is also the team physical therapist for the Freeman High School Lady Scotties basketball team as well as the Freeman High School Track team.

Outside the clinic you can find him hiking, running, swimming, running, and spending time with his family.

Meggi Serrette, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Meggi received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2018 and her Bachelor of Behavioral Science from Hardin-Simmons University in 2012.

Meggi’s clinical interests include orthopedic manual therapy and educating patients about human anatomy and how the body functions to achieve optimal performance in everyday life. She is a resident of the Therapeutic Associates Orthopedic Residency Program and is pursuing her manual therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

She has spent most of her life in Texas, but she loves to travel and explore new places. Meggi enjoys all things outdoors, and in her free time you can find her hiking, golfing, snowboarding, or enjoying a good meal with friends and family.

Bailey Larson

Bailey McCarthy, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Bailey is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who joined our team in June 2015. She is a 2015 graduate of PIMA Medical Institute’s Physical Therapist Assistant Program, and a 2011 graduate of Eastern Washington University’s Exercise Science Program. She is Astym certified and recently obtained a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 Certification. Her clinical interests include working with patients of all ages to improve functional strength and mobility in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Outside of the clinic, Bailey enjoys spending time with her family, biking, hiking, walking the dogs, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
