Shawn Dailey - Therapeutic Associates Lake Oswego Physical Therapy

Shawn Dailey, PT, DPT

Shawn Dailey received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana and opened Therapeutic Associates L.O. Physical Therapy & Wellness in 2009. He has over a decade of experience in orthopedic sports physical therapy, injury prevention, the biomechanics of efficient athletic movement, and youth through elite athlete performance development. Shawn has worked with athletic organizations from local High Schools to professional and Olympic individuals/teams.

His passion lies in providing the highest quality rehabilitative care, injury prevention, long-term youth development, and research-validated athletic enhancement training. Therapeutic Associates L.O. Physical Therapy utilizes a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including physical therapists, athletic trainers, massage therapists, Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Practitioners, registered/licensed dietitian, strength and conditioning coaches, and personal trainers. As one of the most diverse teams in Portland and the Northwest, their mission is to provide quality rehabilitation, athletic performance enhancement, and life-long fitness.

Shawn is the community Physical Therapist to the Portland Trail Blazers as a part of the Blazers Health & Performance Team. He is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Expert and Junior Coach. Shawn is one of only four PTs in the world who were part of the Nike SPARQ Performance Network and continues to work with the Nike Training Network and the Innovation Kitchen. He serves on Advisory Boards for the George Fox University Physical Therapy School and Stafford Hills Athletic Club.

Outside of time in the clinic, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife KC, son Xander, daughter Shalane, and two golden retrievers. He enjoys sports, including basketball, golf, running, and outdoor sports like hiking, biking, and fly-fishing.

Kyla Walish, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Kyla Walish is a Wilsonville, Oregon native who attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona for both her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She originally came to TAI Lake Oswego as an intern and has been with the team since the completion of her Doctorate in 2012. Kyla is interested in manual therapy, therapeutic activity, sports and activity rehabilitation, kids’ fitness, and helping people get back to what they enjoy doing.

While in undergrad at NAU, Kyla competed in track and field and was a member of the 2006 Indoor Big Sky Conference Championship team. As an avid runner, she is an advocate for active living and injury prevention for all ages.

She stays active and enjoys running, biking, reading, hiking, gardening, and working on her house. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband Bobby and her family.

Amalia Iwasaki - Therapeutic Associates Lake Oswego Physical Therapy

Amalia Iwasaki, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Amalia grew up in Lake Oswego and attended Lake Oswego High School. In 2016, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. After college she moved to Colorado, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado in 2019. She is passionate about the benefits of movement for physical and mental wellbeing and enjoys partnering with patients to help them enjoy their favorite activities to the fullest.

Amalia grew up playing soccer and became a distance runner when she competed for the club cross country and track team at Cal Poly. While in physical therapy school, Amalia enjoyed volunteering as a physical therapy provider and Spanish interpreter at a student-run free clinic as well as exploring the Rocky Mountains trail running in the summer and skiing in the winter.

She is excited to be back home in Oregon and in her free time she enjoys cooking and eating with family and friends. When she’s not at work or at home, Amalia is enjoying the PNW outdoors by running, biking, hiking, or skiing.

Paul Wilson

Paul Wilson, PT, DPT, ATC

Paul began his education with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Azusa Pacific University and worked with high school and collegiate athletes in a variety of sport settings. After this Paul moved to Oregon for all the outdoor activities and to get his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University. While in grad school Paul worked in the athletic training department at Pacific university and continued to help with rehabilitation of Pacific’s injured athletes after graduating. In addition to physical therapy and athletic training degrees, Paul has focused his continuing education on manual therapy and strength and conditioning.

Paul is passionate about helping his clients live an active lifestyle and be able to enjoy their hobbies pain free while performing at their highest levels. Paul’s focuses his treatment on a combination of hands-on work, specific exercise, and education to empower his patients to take control of their health, not only addressing pain but improving their general fitness and health. Paul has worked in a variety of therapeutic associate clinics and spent the past two years providing physical therapy to Nike Employees on Nike’s campus.

Paul grew up in southern California and grew up playing most sports but excelled the most in Basketball in Volleyball. During his undergraduate degree Paul spent a significant portion of his summers and weekends volunteering in Mexicali, Mexico serving in a physical therapy clinic for children with special needs without access to care. Serving in this clinic and through a combination of his own injuries Paul became passionate about how physical therapy and movement can impact people’s lives.

Paul and his wife Danielle have a young son, Zion, who is a ball of energy, athleticism, and joy. In his free time Paul enjoys backpacking, running, cross country skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and spending time outdoors with his wife and son. When he’s not playing outside or working Paul enjoys trying new things to eat and drink, spending time with friends, and exercising.

Tony Rocklin - Downtown Portland Physical Therapy

Tony Rocklin, PT, DPT

Tony Rocklin graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 1994 and was a member of the Men’s Varsity Basketball team. He earned his Physical Therapy degree with distinction in 1998 as well as his Clinical Doctorate in 2008 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He has continued his advanced education through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, achieving Level IV Certification in Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Although Tony enjoys working with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities in both the young and aging populations, his area of special interest includes hip intra-articular pathology such as osteoarthritis (OA), femoral acetabular impingement (FAI) and labral tears.

Tony Rocklin has co-authored and published three research articles and continues pursuing new research projects involving the conservative management of hip pathology.

When not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and their two children, Miles and Delaney, as well participating in golf, functional fitness and being outdoors.

Kyle Newton grew up in Manhattan Beach, California and landed in Portland via Austin, Texas. He attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and is currently a student pursuing his PTA degree. He is passionate about sports and has experience playing football, rugby, basketball, baseball, soccer, and both indoor and beach volleyball. His hobbies include fly fishing, hiking, watching and playing sports, and spending time with friends and family. Hopefully he can instill this healthy love of sports to enthusiasts of all ages.

Stacy is a Portland native. She has always been passionate about health, fitness and wellness. Growing up, she played soccer and trained in ballet. She participated in soccer, track and cheerleading at Grant High School in NE Portland.

She went to college at University of Oregon and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. Stacy has always loved teaching and fitness so she became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2007 and has spent many years helping people achieve their functional goals. She has worked in the medical field since 2009 as a Rehab Assistant and Office Manager.

Stacy spends her free time working on house projects, gardening and enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and daughter.

Sasha Scamarone - L.O. Physical Therapy

Alexandra "Sasha" Scamarone


Alexandra “Sasha” Scamarone is a board-certified acupuncturist licensed in the state of Oregon. Sasha spent her early days in North Carolina, where she ran cross-country and track in high school and later took up yoga, biking and salsa dancing. Physical activity has always brought her great joy and she is passionate about helping people regain and optimize their function and health with acupuncture and other Chinese medicine therapies.

Sasha completed a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine in 2012, graduating with Honors in Research. She worked as a research assistant and coordinator at the Helfgott Research Institute, assisting with qualitative research design and analysis on the community acupuncture model and co-authoring two publications. In her clinical practice, she strives to integrate evidence-based acupuncture research with classical Chinese medicine therapies.

Sasha has six years of clinical experience and has treated patients in a variety of settings, including a one-year clinical rotation at the OHSU Richmond Family Medicine Clinic and a two-and-a-half-year post-graduate clinical internship, where she received mentorship from two senior acupuncturists from China. Sasha also worked at an integrative urgent care clinic focused on injury rehabilitation and at a primary care clinic, working alongside primary care providers. She is a strong proponent of an integrative approach to healthcare. She currently sees patients at Therapeutics Associates-Lake Oswego where she runs her own clinic while working collaboratively with TAI’s integrative physical therapy team.

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Sasha had an eight-year career in language education and taught in universities in Mexico, France and the United States, as well as at a local-area Waldorf high school. She is fluent in Spanish and French. Outside of work, you will find her spending time in nature, cooking or salsa dancing with her husband and son.

Eliza Davis, MA, LMT, NCTM

As a seasoned Massage Therapist, Eliza Davis specializes in therapeutic modalities including, Deep Tissue, ART, Trigger Point, Cupping Therapy, Structural Integration & Lymphatic drainage

With a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Eliza has an innate ability to listen, communicate effectively, and develop tailored treatment plans. She can adequately observe, palpate, locate areas of pain & postural imbalances and implement a modality to enhance the opportunity for long-lasting fascial transformations.

While working inside the same Physical Therapy clinic for the last 12 years, she has been able to study under top-notch Physical Therapists, which has helped to increase her knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology & physiology. She has had the opportunity to work with professional athletes throughout her career from a wide range of sports, including NFL, Olympic Track & Field, Women’s Professional Soccer League, World Cup and Olympic Team, and Women’s Olympic Water Polo players. Eliza also works routinely with an NBA referee and professional basketball players.

As an All-American swimmer at UCLA & The University of Hawaii, Eliza draws from her personal athletic experiences with overtraining, competition, and tapering and recovery to choose the best type of modality to use for optimal athletic performance.

In the future, Eliza hopes to complete her Structural Integration certification & continue practicing Pilates & Fascial Stretch Therapy to assist clients in the best treatments possible. She has completed training to be a Pilates instructor but has not yet completed the final exam.

When not working or furthering her education, Eliza, a native of Oregon and resident of Lake Oswego, loves to camp, hike, trail run, SUP, attend athletic events, and spend time with her three boys and husband.
