Susan graduated with a Physical Therapy Degree from Eastern Washington University in 1991. She also earned a degree in Exercise Science from Western Washington University. Prior to attending physical therapy school she worked as an athletic trainer and has provided sports medicine for a number of schools and sports teams. Susan’s areas of expertise include exercise prescription, sports injury management, manual therapy, and strain counterstrain.

Susan has an amazing story of her own physical challenges and recovery from a stroke at the young age of 37. She uses her personal experiences as a stroke survivor to better relate to the challenges her patients face with their injuries.   She has been at Northside Physical Therapy for almost 18 years, although she took two years off for her own intense rehabilitation.

Outside of work, she and her husband are avid supporters of their two daughters’ involvement in sports, and she is also very involved in her church.

Megan Roland - Therapeutic Associates Northside Physical Therapy

Megan Roland

Physical Therapist

Megan received her Physical Therapy degree from Eastern Washington University in 1994. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Western Washington University and worked in the field of biopharmaceutical research. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1992.

Megan feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know her patients and their families at her current Northside location for the last 18 years. She has broad experience and knowledge covering a diverse array of conditions and treatments which allow her to use a blend of physical therapy techniques tailored to each patient’s needs. She believes that physical therapy should be a partnership between the patient and therapist with the goal of empowering patients to achieve their full potential and overcome injury.

Outside of the clinic, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, being entertained by the family dogs and pursuing her interests in beekeeping, gardening, hiking, running, cross country skiing, canoeing, golfing, reading and puzzles.
