Brian Weiderman, PT, DPT

Brian received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Idaho State University, where he graduated with honors. He received his Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Chemistry from the University of Puget Sound, where he competed in intercollegiate rowing. He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), certified in Augmented Soft Tissue Manipulation (The ASTYM™ System) and is working toward advanced certifications with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

Brian’s treatment approach is customized for every patient, using a mixture of manual therapy, strength and conditioning exercises, and education to improve overall function. His areas of specialty include orthopedic injuries, cervical and lumbar musculoskeletal injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He has a particular interest in treating sports-related injuries and Men’s Health disorders. His passion for teaching is readily observed during specialized bike fits, video gait analysis clinics and injury prevention workshops.

Brian can offer unique views on rehabilitation and patient education by drawing on his extensive background in guiding and instructing clients on mountaineering, rock climbing, and sea kayaking expeditions throughout North America. When not working you can expect he’ll be out taking advantage of the best of what Idaho has to offer for rock climbing, telemark skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.

Mindy English, PT, DPT

Mindy received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she graduated with honors and was a recipient of the Physical Therapy Program Excellence Award each year. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science with a Biomechanics emphasis, as well as her Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Boise State University. During her undergraduate education, she was a member of the volleyball team and was named to the Western Athletic Conference All-Academic team all four years.

Mindy’s treatment approach combines manual therapy techniques with strength and conditioning principles to help patients improve function and return to desired activities as quickly and safely as possible. She has a special interest in sports medicine, female athletes of all ages, and injury prevention and rehabilitation of youth athletes. She is currently working to complete continuing education on the management and prevention of injuries unique to the youth athlete and plans to pursue further specialization in manual therapy techniques.

Mindy is active in the Boise volleyball community as both a player and youth coach. She also enjoys running and spending time outdoors with her husband, Doug.

Collin Reid, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Collin received his bachelors of science from Montana State University in Health and Human performance in 2013. He then continued to pursue physical therapy by obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Montana in 2016. While gaining his education, Collin enjoyed competing in intramurals and exploring the Montana wilderness, all activities which helped convince him that staying active is the best medicine. As Collin joins the Therapeutic Associate’s team, he looks to utilize his expertise as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to help his patients pursue their goals while training hard and competing even harder.

Collin serves his patients’ needs by utilizing advanced orthopedic manual techniques in addition to specialized exercise to address the source of pain and dysfunction, allowing patients to return to what they love doing. He believes that his best asset to therapy is a sense of humor, where making therapy fun can be the difference in creating optimal physical outcomes.

Collin enjoys the great outdoors and likes to keep healthy by hiking, backpacking, and going back to his native Montana where he can return to the mountains that he grew up in.

Amy Henkel, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist | Physical Therapy Aide

Amy graduated with honors from Milan Institute of Massage Therapy. She competed at the collegiate level on the women’s basketball team at Eastern Washington University while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. After graduating, Amy went on to play professional basketball in Denmark for a year.
Working in a physical therapy environment, Amy has the ability to communicate with the physical therapists and incorporate a therapeutic, healing touch. She tailors every massage session to the client’s specific needs and integrates different modalities. Amy enjoys helping her clients manage pain while restoring health and is trained in techniques such as deep tissue, swedish, sports massage, subtle energy, prenatal, and myofascial release.
