Moruya grew up in Santa Cruz, CA, and on the Southern Oregon Coast before moving to Bend with her family 7 years ago. Sports have always been a big part of Moruya’s life. A four-sport varsity athlete in high school, Moruya went on to play 2 sports in college, tennis and soccer, before moving back to Bend due to the Coronavirus.
She is now on her way to completing a bachelors in Exercise Science. Moruya has traveled the world extensively and spends her spare time hiking, reading, and caring for pets.
